The Agave Holder is designed to hold a stick, cone or spiral incense. Inspired by the beautiful Agave plant, the sharp points delicately hold the spiral and cone incense, allowing oxygen below the incense for a complete burn. The hole in the middle is for placing a stick incense. As the Agave Holder is intended to be placed on your own tray or plate to catch the ash – metal, stone, porcelain, glass – it folds in to any aesthetic. A pin is included with the Agave Holder, intended to be used after burning a stick. Push the pin through the hole on the bottom of the agave to release the stick remnant.

The Tall Cylinder Burner has three stacking layers – a base for storage of cone or spiral incense, a middle layer with an incense holder and ash catch, and a cover to conceal the burning incense and ash with an oculus for release of smoke. The agave holder in the middle layer allows the incense to properly burn, as oxygen can make its way all around and beneath the incense. The three slots between the middle and cover layer allow air in and the domed interior of the cover directs the smoke to the oculus.

The Tall Cylinder Burner packaging consists of a traditional Japanese cloth and a wooden box intended for reuse. There are an infinite number of ways the box and cloth can be used. The cloth gets better with age – it can be washed in cold water and hung to dry.
